a quick sona anthology for anyone who never got to see or hear the band. sona was a popular, modern-rock band based in State College, PA in the late 1990's and turn of the millennium. sona earned recognition for their original music.

sona - Flash Video
This little 6MB Flash movie is a retrospective of the sona years. Although it takes a little while to load up, it's worth it, and it's totally recommend that you check it out. pretty much everything is included here in one quick summary-- at least all of the images from the web site and any relevant fans and friends who played a significant part in sona's success, or in the lives of the band members at the time. The soundtrack is a fairly high-quality mp3 of sona's Birdsong, which received heavy air-play on local radio Station WQWK 97.1 FM (a commercial, rock station no longer in existence), and which won sona a nomination in the American Music Awards "Coca-Cola New Music Award", a coveted award which recognizes unsigned American bands.

e-Nation 2003 - former sona members' first post-sona group
Disbanded in 2005, you might also want to check out the first group of sona members on stage together post-sona, e-Nation, formed by sona's drummer, Scott Everhart, and lead guitarist, Jeff Sabarese as a project to keep the music rollin' after sona's planned breakup in 2003.
